Sorry, no photos yet. I'll post some when we get home. We are doing great. I am tired and only got a couple of hours of sleep last night but other than that we are fine. Leland was born yesterday around 3:15. He weighed 8 lbs 7 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. We came to the hospital in the morning and I was 4 cm dialated and 90% effaced. I had to be on antibiotics for 4 hours before he could be born so mostly we just waited around. The dr. broke my water and he was born quickly. He was out in 4 contractions - less than 10 minutes. It was an easy delivery. He is so cute and although he definitely looks like his brother, blonde hair, big white baby etc. he does look different (to Mama atleast). He has been a nursing champ so far and is still really sleepy. On to his name... He is names after a town in Michigan called Leland. My grandparents live there and my family vacationed there every year. We found out we were having a baby right before we went to Leland this year. It is a beautiful, quiet, quaint little town. We like the name because it is old-fashioned but still unique. His middle name is Richard after my grandfather, Ryan's grandfather and our family friend Richard Howerton (aka Richie). 3 amazing and kind men with the same name- we had to use it. So- that's all for now. Baby Beau :) just got here so Mama is going to visit with him and post more tomorrow. Thanks for all of the prayers and well wishes.

I am so glad Leland 's birth was so quick and easy and that he is doing so well! We are thinking of you. Try to enjoy a decent night's sleep in the hospital before you head home!

Loved reading the story behind his name. :) Looking forward to the pics!
SO happy (and a wee bit jealous) your labor was quick and easy!! And I am glad he is nursing well, too. Enjoy the sleepiness while you can...
