I got tickets this year for the Halloween program at Holliday Park. Our family went with the Holloways, Steph and Josie, and Kaelina and family. The enjoyable parts- a hike through the woods, a spider making craft, songs and marshmallows, popcorn and a pumpkin to take home. The unenjoyable parts- lady dressed as some sort of vulture, suddenly coming to life in the woods and pretend barfing- the crying that resulted (Beau and Violet), the daddy carrying Beau through the woods while sobbing, the Mama- trying not to trip over the tree roots since giant baby Biscuits is being carried in the ergo, and lastly- the nursing by the campfire (chilly). Beau did manage some of his fear following the first 'animal' that came to life in the woods. This part was really intended for older children, each animal talked about it's habits etc. But- a fun experience. Today, Beau is talking about that 'bird--- to scary for my's'...
