Baby Shepherd Thomas was born on May 12 at 4:37. His due date was May 23. He was 9 lb 1 oz and 21.5 inches long. I was having contractions all day thurs and fri and by fri night we decided to go in. They broke my water at 12 (midnight) and he was born in the middle of the night. The hospital experience was super easy. He was born in 4 contractions. The dr and the nurse just stayed in our room with us all night. It was so dark and quiet and kind of a strange experience. We picked the name Shepherd because we liked it and his middle name is Thomas which is my dads name. His pregnancy was the most difficult and I was so glad to be 'done' and glad that he decided to come early and was still big and healthy.
