Beau started kindergarten this week. We are so happy that we got into the school before it started. We were on a waitlist for our neighborhood magnet school and it was our first choice. Through some pushing, he was able to go on the first day. He had a great day and arrived home feeling and seeming more grown up. There was an assembly at school this morning and I am so impressed with the schools emphasis on integrity, accountability and academics. His teacher seems great and his class is full of kids that we know from our neighborhood. I'm thinking he will be super tired soon but so far...so good.
