Still hanging in there... We have had a fairly easy 12 days thanks to having lots of help. My mom has been over a lot and has helped me to try to keep Beau occupied. I would be able to do this with out her, but not well. I keep thinking that she will get sick of us and run out of energy but she never does :). She has made us dinner every night and helped me rest. Thanks mom. Today we took Beau to a playgroup that met at a gymnastics center. He jumped on all of the trampolines and had the best time. Ryan's parents took him for the afternoon. I'm trying to recover as fast as I can and I feel pretty good. A few more days and I should be good as new (right?). Leland is a really sleepy baby (during the day and evening)- except for this evening, he was awake from 4-10. What? Usually he can't make it 2 hours but he was wiggly and squirmy and fussy. I nurse him every hour that he's awake (I'm not joking) and he still acts hungry. So- I gave him 2 ounces of pumped milk after he nursed and he chugged it, nursed 45 minuted later and he is asleep now- thank goodness. I'm so happy he took the bottle- Beau never did. Maybe he'll be like Beau and grow like crazy the first few weeks. Beau weighed 16 lbs and was over 26 inches by 8 weeks so I'm accustomed to the constant nursing but it is so fantastic to have a little break and let daddy do a feeding or two.

Such a handsome little guy! Glad to hear things are going well! :)
That is one cute kid! I can't wait to hold him again...you are doing great!!
Good for you - if he'll take a bottle and go back to nursing then no problem! I took a break with Maria and the bottle and she forgot how to take it so I say do it daily! Whatever works! He is so cute, he looks different already.
I'm so glad to hear that Leland took a bottle...I think we're going to try in a few days...Hopefully Katie will take one...my milkies could use a little late night break! :)
He is incredibly adorable!! :)
Gotta love those non-stop nursing big boys, huh? ;)
