Leland is almost 9 months and although he is certainly still made of sugar, our once perfectly content little guy has discovered frustration. Days are still filled with smiling, but equal amounts of grunts and grumbles as well. With Beau the baby phase was so short (and challenging) because he did everything early. This guy has his own slower pace. Still not crawling, only 2 teeth and he is so quiet. So- I have had a 'baby' for longer. I fear (and hope ;) he will lose this chub so I felt like documenting the sweetness. I especially love the second photo because it looks like my Papa Dick who went to heaven when Leland Richard was a tiny guy.
