I have rocked and rocked Beau every day since he was born...Naptime and bedtime have become v. stressful. There is a lot of crying and screaming. So I simply gave up and decided to not make it so stressful and not to try to make him sleep. So I told him,"Big boys play in their room and when they get tired, they close their eyes." Who would have known it would be so easy. This boy must be in control and he must have choices. Funny little man. When he got up he told me "I just play with my car and lie down on the floor and close my eyes." Indeed.

That's great! Love that you got a picture...whatever it takes for them to sleep:)
That is great - there comes a time where they just can't take the rocking. I have pictures of A like this but he is usually lying next to a chair that he knocked over or something.
