Poor Beau, he has had a rough week. We began potty training this week and it is actually going really well. Except for two major disasters, one at Costco (awesome) he seems to be ready. He is really into his undies. Also in Beau news, he has decided he doesn't take naps anymore. This is especially tricky becomes he becomes super anxious when I try to make him spend some time alone in his room and although he is exhausted, he gets so worked up that he can't sleep. Today I spent an hour in his room trying to bring on the Zzzz's. I'm not really the 'lock 'em in' type and I really want Leland to sleep so I can't let him slam the door/scream etc. So, my patience has been gone by the evening. He has been in trouble a lot because he is so tired that the 'naughty' takes over my sweet boy. He wouldn't smile for the camera much this week but I did snap a few.

Hey Abby, when Beau thought he gave up naps I would try to do everything to get him calm...I even did yoga with him, played lots of calming music, and used lotions and pillow sprays. I have a book called Itsy Bitsy Yoga if you are interested!
Anthony gave up naps forever at about Beau's age. Once he tore his closet doors off the hinges during 'quiet time', I just gave up and in exchange had him go to bed a lot earlier. I know it stinks, I hope it gets better soon!
