Oh he is so sweet and man he requires a lot of energy- we still have to watch him constantly- he will try all things dangerous and throw himself around like you wouldn't believe. That's the balance I guess- he is unbelievably snuggly and handsome (at least to his mama) but he requires attention fairly constantly. He is only still while watching tv which sorry (and not sorry) to say that he MUST watch just so I can keep him safe and occasionally get things done. He wants to play sooo rough and is beginning to show signs of nearing 2. He is not much with the talking although he jabbers at me all of the time. I am not concerned about his language. He's at that phase where he randomly names things he knows just to be part of the conversation. He loves all of the Christmas decorations. He has begun to really really love and count on his brother being around and helping him do things. We are having the best time watching the beginning of these brothers lives together. It is so sweet to see Beau stick up for Leland or try to protect him and Leland is constantly leaning in to Beau, wrestling, kissing or resting an arm on his leg. Beau is beginning to get 'bugged' by the closeness and Leland is beginning to get 'bugged' by being disciplined by his brother but ah well. I only have sisters so this seems new to me and also familiar (it's really not that different). I get a little cheesy around the holidays so forgive me.
