I am constantly moving Beau away from Leland. He thinks he can wrestle him and tickle him and lay on top of him. Leland has begun riding in the car and even sleeping in his carseat sans screaming. I think it is exactly the same situation we had with Beau. He has begun to see things- the mobile on his swing, the monkey mirror in the car, and it distracts and comforts him enough to keep him from screaming. Man, he is the sweetest thing. With out the screaming, there is hardly anything to complain about. He's doing better with the sleeping too. He has totally regressed but last night he got up once at 4:45 and slept until 8. I feel like I have teenagers- both boys like to sleep late. Lucky me. I did have a lovely 4 months when Beau was rising in the 5's so I figure I have earned it and I know it's only temporary.

Wow, Leland looks about six months old in this picture! I am a little worried about how mine will do with #3, when Maria was teeny, Anthony always used to lick her head! I'm glad to hear it's going better in the car, that must be a big relief!
